A match report of Bradford City’s draw with Morecambe will be uploaded on Sunday. In the meantime, you must read this revealing interview with Dean Windass from The Sunday People, where the Bantams legend reveals he has recently tried to kill himself and is suffering from depression.
Dean told the paper:
Just over a week ago I hit rock-bottom and decided to end it all. I first took an overdose and when that didn’t work tried to hang myself. I felt so alone and believed I had nothing to live for. I need to sort myself out which is why I’m speaking out now. It is part of me getting better – part of the healing process.”
Read here, and let’s all hope Deano gets the help and support he needs.
