This afternoon’s home game with Crawley Town has been postponed because of a frozen pitch. Despite the club working hard to get the match on, overnight temperatures left the pitch frozen underneath the covers and – with the forecast of snow this afternoon – the referee has elected to call the game off.
Plymouth’s home game with Southend is the only League Two fixture still scheduled to be played – having survived a pitch inspection. A home win for the Pilgrims would lift them out of the relegation zone and two points behind City, though the Bantams will have two games in hand.
So I guess I’ll have to do the housework…
