We’re taking a break for the summer now. I’ve got to be honest – I’m absolutely knackered. The last few weeks writing about the club have been very full on. But so, so worth it!

I want to say a massive thanks to those who have supported us this season. Especially to Alex Scott, Tim Penfold, Adam Raj, Jake Verity, Gareth Walker, Tom Swithinbank, John Dewhirst, Mesh Johal, Kieran Wilkinson, Damien Wilkinson, Phil Abbott, Nikhil Vekaria, Peter Rowe, Karen Bennett, Gary Jones, and Tom McDermott.

Most importantly of all – thank you to you, valued reader. We’ve had some truly fantastic support from our readers this season. Lots of really kind comments that mean a lot. The Bradford City community is so special, and we are proud to be a very small part of it.

Have an amazing summer. Keep watching the videos of THAT goal. And all those unforgettable celebrations. See you in a few weeks’ time for the next chapter.

Right, time to crack open a cider or two…

  1. Big thanks to all at WOAP. There’s a lot of hard work and dedication that is really appreciated by all us city fans. For once the end of season ‘Copy and Paste’ article of get rid of them all and ‘we need a fresh start’ isn’t getting used. What a season, what an ending. I loved every minute* (*I did not enjoy 95mins vs Fleetwood and the recent sending offs!). Have a great summer ever everyone!

  2. Thank you, Jason (and the others you mention), for the great reports, analysis and opinion. Have a great, and well-deserved, break.

  3. A big thank you to people for all you put in to your summary.

  4. Massive thank you to everyone involved at WOAP, it’s one of the first things I look for after a game, the match report. Been on cloud 9 for a week down to cloud 7 now for a month, enjoying watching the play offs. So glad we’re not involved! Enjoy your summer everyone.

  5. Thanks very much Jason for all your hard work throughout the season. Your in depth, well researched and totally fair comments on all things City. Have a good break and I look forward to WOAP next season in the 1st Division!!!

  6. Rumour is that the WOAP team are out with a boombox in North Parade…

  7. You all deserve a good rest after the brilliant job you’ve done over the last season. Enjoy the break.

  9. Thanks to you Jason, and alll your team, there has been some thought provoking articles this season, and you must be all cream crackered, especially with the number of articles you have produced the last few weeks, enjoy your cider, August 2nd wont we long in coming!

  11. Thank you Jason and all the WOAP contributers, you have a great team of writers and commentators. What a roller coaster the last few weeks have been, I must admit I thought we’d

    • …..blown it when we lost to Donny. Your most match commentary never fails to set the right tone. Here’s to more of the same in League One. Thanks a million from a long suffering bantam, ( 63 years and counting) Chris Patterson

  12. Thanks to the whole WOAP team for everything you do. Living in Switzerland, I don’t get to as many games as I would like but your reports keep me going! What a season!

  13. Thanks to everyone for their contributions – it’s been a very emotional and challenging season but we got through it and we are moving forward now. Have a great summer

  14. Thanks Jason and all for a great documented season. Let’s hope next season is as exciting as this?! I’ll never forget the last game celebrations forever. See you next season have a well earned break.

  15. By far the best footie site out there ( obviously being a City fan I’ve bias), your my first go to point for match reports, keep up the great work and to all the writers have a good summer.

  16. Thanks for the whole season’s writing and photos. Onwards and upwards!

  17. Tremendous thanks to all WOAP contributors for yet another season’s great coverage (and what a season it was!). Unbeknownst to you maybe how for us abroad you are providing a lifeline to keep up-to-date on the club with your weighted, positive critical coverage and views; much, much appreciated.

Enjoy your well-deserved break, and know that we are anxiously awaiting your return for another season. UTFC!

    • What does UTFC mean? I keep seeing this. Google tells me it means “up the f *cking toffees”. Which obviously isn’t relevant to City?

  18. I’d just like to say a grateful and heartfelt ‘Thank You’ for all you do.

I read all you write avidly from a distance here in Calgary and the insight you all give to this and every season is outstanding. Without your excellent commentary and match reports, my experience would be significantly diminished.

So thanks to everyone and look forward to catching up next season.

PS The only game I saw in person was the Tranmere home game AND we in Canada are not all the same. Up the Chickens!!!

  19. Thank you to each and every one of you for such brilliant coverage. I genuinely look forward to getting that X notification letting me know that there is something new to read! Enjoy the close season, it’s been well earned. See you in League One (ole ole!)

  20. A big thanks to WOAP team. As ever, you’ve had a great season!

It’s the first place I come for a city match report. Lots of well written, interesting articles and a good website to sound off some of my half baked opinions!

Long may it continue guys 👏👏

  21. Brilliant as always. See you in League One.

  22. A massive thank you to all at WOAP as you really are my real connection to all things City being based in Sydney for the last 17 years! Getting up for 2am matches on iFollow is great (bloody knackering though!) but not as good as actually being there – despite the bad luck I brought with me to Swindon, Notts, Chesterfield & Donny (watched that one in the Packhorse) during the run in! Lucky I took my bad luck charms with me back to Oz for the Fleetwood match! After watching matches on TV in the middle of the night, next day the first thing I look for is the WOAP match report to see if I saw things the same way as WOAP and my fellow Bantams. Absolutely love the podcasts with the banter making me chuckle! The hard work you all put in is very much appreciated by your readers and doesn’t go unnoticed. Take the well earned break and we’ll all be looking forward to the new season in League 1 with WOAP on the case! Cheers All!!

  23. sincere thank you to Jason and all the team.
have a great summer and we’ll deserved break from WOAP. Your efforts and insights and so very much appreciated. Look forward to reading more build up to life in league 1

  25. Jason – huge thanks for yours and the team’s continued efforts to deliver such a high standard of analysis. As a fan living far away and not able to get to many games, your content is invaluable. Enjoy the well earned break and look forward to continue reading your views next season.
