For me it has been coming for the past few weeks so not really a surprise. We have gone from being an exciting team with movement at pace, possession football, on the floor. Shooting on site etc to a team that has gone back to the hoofball, League 2 stuff at any opportunity.
You can say that teams have worked us out, especially the long crossfield balls to Neufville but it seems to be more than that.
Without wanting to name players we still have some L2 hoofballers who need to be moved on asap.
GA also seems to have his favourites regardless of performances too. How come the likes of Lapslie are overlooked with Leigh, Tyreik Wright and Kav, who for me should be further down the pecking order.
Tactically wrong by GA.Burton came with a game plan and it worked. Teams are becoming wise to our strengths. Hopefully most of the squad will be available for the Bolton game and we can continue with the momentum we started with. Four points out of fifteen is a bit worrying, but we’re still second. Just goes to show how competitive this league is.
