Garry Thompson signs for Bradford City

By Jason McKeown

Bradford City have this afternoon confirmed the signing of Garry Thompson after the 31-year-old right winger was released by Scunthorpe United at the end of the season. Thompson has signed a one year deal with the option of a further 12 months, and his arrival all but seals the winger positions in next season’s squad.

Width of the Post exclusively revealed City were after Thompson three weeks ago. So please allow us, dear reader, our little moment of smugness (it may never happen again!).

With the players reporting back for pre-season training tomorrow, the squad building is progressing nicely. Width of a Post understands City are in advanced talks about signing an attacking player on a season-long loan from a leading Premier League club, and that Parkinson has cooled off on his interest with Andy Gray. One more marque signing is also said to be in the pipeline.

  1. English Premier league or scottish premier league, that is the question?

  2. Things stacking up nicely, really looking forward to next season now. Keep up the good work by the way Jason, lots of great stuff.
