The new Width of a Post podcast is now available!
It was all going so well for Bradford City. An 11 game unbeaten run put them two points off the automatics, with a game in hand. But one point from the last six means top three hopes are all but over. And the Bantams are not yet assured of a play off spot.
In this edition of the podcast Jason McKeown, Tim Penfold and Alex Scott discuss what’s gone wrong at the crucial time, and what it means for the Bantams’ promotion hopes.
Also in this jam-packed episode:
– Assessing the League Two run-in
– The head to head record of each potential play off team – who to fear and who might not be the worst opponent (if City make it)
– The Jamie Walker conundrum
– What’s changed with Alex Gilliead and Richie Smallwood
– Harry Lewis is human after all!
– The impact of Sam Stubbs
– Who should play on the left
– The nine players out of contract this summer, and is there a problem with the contract length of some of the back-ups?
– Plus Andy Cook, advice for Mark Hughes, City’s play off record, Scott Banks – and why you probably shouldn’t put Tim down as your emergency contact!

Mansfield will beat Orient and cruise above City . City have no one to blame but themselves .
We won’t lose our season in the next games. We lost this season with our home record, the inflexible and negative tactics at home and all those dropped points against all manner of teams. That is, and will remain, the issue.
What ever happens. This season has had everything, joy, disappointment, excitement. What more do you expect following a Bradford side? Not to forget all the goals from Andie Cook.If we dont get promotion,we will be a lot better for it next season as long as we keep Mark Hughes, and his backroom staff. Also the fans.I havnt given up on this season yet.
Can’t get beyond 30 minutes. Is the problem at my end or yours?
It seems to work fine for us when tested on the Soundcloud platform. So it looks like an issue at your end? Let me know if it doesn’t work still.
