    Couldn’t argue with any of that excellent analysis. Personally think that Lapslie can add significantly to our midfield options next season – especially in those attritional “ low block” games like Stevenage at home this season.

    So pleased for him he fought his way back this term and showed the asset he is to us.

      It’s amazing how popular Lapslie is amongst the fan base. He’s so quiet and unassuming, but goes about his business with tremendous professionalism. And his vesatility is crucial too – his appearances in the middle of the park at the end of the season will provide really fascinating competition.

      Full credit to him for working hard, staying loyal and consistent, and showing many fans were right to be asking for his greater inclusion.
