Introducing the Bingley Bantams

The Bingley Bantams is a brand new supporters group. The inaugural meeting will take place on Thursday 20th April at 7.30pm at our new home “The Firepit” in Bingley.

The ethos of the Bingley Bantams is to be more than just a Travel club. We want to organise social gatherings and give members a real benefit to joining us.

We also of course plan to raise money for not only the club but also the academy as we really want to help the club find the next young gem and see as many players as possible promoted to the first team.

With that in mind we are delighted to be able to confirm that Bantams rising star Ellis Hudson will be attending the opening night for a Q&A session. We are delighted that Ellis has agreed to do this especially as he is a local lad from Bingley and as previously said fits into our stated aim of wanting to sponsor a young player.

In addition we will have representatives from the T&A and Keighley News in attendance.

We will also be taking membership payments on the night the cost of membership will be £15 pp and £8 for U16’s. Membership will run until the end of NEXT season.

The Firepit have also confirmed that they will be showing the City v Sheff Utd game on Bank holiday Monday if anyone fancies popping in prior to our first official meeting. A representative will be there if anyone wants to sign up

Through working with The Firepit we will be able to offer discount cards for the venue to all Bingley Bantams Members. Which gets you 10% off food & drinks

Bingley Bantams Website is up and running (www.bingleybantams.co.uk). It is still in it’s infancy and there will be changes over the next few weeks. The main one being a “Virtual Shop” where you will be able to pay for membership/coach travel/merchandise etc via the website.

The Facebook (Bingley Bantams official) and Twitter page (@bingley_bantams) are now in full flow so please give us a follow and a like to keep up to date with the latest news.

Finally we have booked a coach for the Rochdale game. It will leave Bingley at 9.30am and drop us back off after the game where I would hope we would support our new partners at The Firepit and call back for a couple after the match.

The cost will be £15 pp or £12 pp if you join The Bingley Bantams before 21st April.
